ILOILO CITY, Philippines – The Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas coalition of senatorial aspirants made the second stop of its campaign around the nation at the vote-rich province of Iloilo on Thursday, February 13.
In 2022, a majority of Iloilo’s more than 1.6 million voters voted then-presidential candidate Leni Robredo over opponent, now-president Ferdinand Marcos Jr. This year, the Marcos-backed slate is looking to woo the same voters.
Their campaign sortie was held at the Vera Park, Gaisano Capital in Iloilo City. Some local officials attended the event but did not make any speeches during the event.
