BAGUIO CITY – PBA legend Asi Taulava is known not only for his durability and dominance on court but also for his endearing personality. With 24 years of experience in the league, having moved around 4 teams, Taulava is indeed one of the players to look up to. In his last playing years, he was part of the NLEX Road Warriors, and that eventually led to his present role as ambassador of the team.
In this episode of HOMESTRETCH, show host and former PBA governor Pató Gregorio catches up with Taulava at the Bell House at Camp John Hay. The two talk about the basketball clinics that are part of NLEX’s community development programs. They also reminisce about Taulava’s decades of experience, his dreams for his country and his team. Taulava also opens up about his philosophy in life that led him to embrace this country and its people as his own.
Gregorio also sits down with Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong to talk about the city’s Smart Urban Mobility Project, which aims to address traffic congestion issues in the City of Pines.
