While many cruises focus on destinations, “the ship is the destination” for this particular cruise, the Disney Cruise Line Team said during a press conference. They added that the strategic decision to base the ship in Singapore is due to the cosmopolitan city-state’s world-class infrastructure, safety, interregional connectivity, and an influx of Asian tourists, making it the best launchpad for Disney’s first foray into Asia.
‘Marvel’ at the fleet’s firsts
Disney’s Asia debut brings some exciting firsts — three new Asia-exclusive attractions at Marvel Landing, one of the seven themed areas onboard.
Dare to ride the world’s longest rollercoaster at sea? The Ironcycle Test Run will take guests for a spin on Tony Stark’s latest invention — a 250-meter (820-foot) ride that loops around the ship’s upper decks. Riders will soar 9 meters (30 feet) above the ship, controlling the speed of their two-seater vehicle.

There’s the Pym Quantum Racers, inspired by the thrilling car chase in Ant-Man and The Wasp. Here, you can drive comically oversized toy cars through a full-scale toy set. On Groot Galaxy Spin, guests can soar above the ship in spinning Nova Corp Bass Jumpers, with Groot’s mixtape as your soundtrack.
Marvel Landing will also feature Avengers Assemble, an epic stunt showdown and the first of its kind featuring Marvel superheroes jumping off three levels.

Entertainment for all
Disney Cruise Line thoughtfully designed the live entertainment aboard to make sure that guests, regardless of age or physical ability, can enjoy the magic. The goal, as shared in the interview with Disney Cruise Line executives, is to create entertainment offerings that are accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

We find ways for guests to simply sit back, watch, and be part of the action, ensuring they can enjoy it no matter what their age or physical condition.”
